The majority of the ingenit team spends almost as much time with colleagues as with their own family. That is why we attach great importance to the influences that positively promote teambuilding. The management has therefore invited almost traditionally all employees and their families to an adventure day - this time to a day trip to the <link https: www.zoom-erlebniswelt.de _blank>Zoom Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen.

It covers more than 30 hectares and is divided into Africa, Asia and Alaska. Since 2000, it has been uniquely possible in Europe to travel around the world in one day. The newly designed facility offers more than 900 animals from over 100 species a lifelike home and a wide variety of highlights for visitors.

Not that a trip to the blue and white neighbouring town would be challenging enough: Some colleagues even travel the 30 km by bike and enjoy the fantastic view on the <link https: www.ruhr-tourismus.de de radrevierruhr bahntrassenradeln die-erzbahntrasse.html _blank erzbahntrasse>Erzbahn route. Since the beginning of the millennium, this former railway line has been developed into a beautiful cycle path for the whole family.

As agreed, drivers and cyclists met on time in front of the entrance to the world of experience and started the exploration tour in Africa. The joint boat tour on the African Queen must be mentioned here as a highlight. From the water the whole team could watch baboons, hippos or flamingos. It was so relaxing and you felt smooth as if you were on holiday.

We had the best sunshine for our trip and so it was no wonder that many animal figures rested in the sun or shade. The colleagues turned this game of hide-and-seek into a race to see who discovered the next animal first. We also got hungry and had lunch for the second part: We went to Alaska. While the kids used the opportunity of the hour to sift gold at the water playground "Joe´s Claim", all adults enjoyed a cool ice cream. Such a cooling also explains why polar bears and sea lions were so active. They couldn't get enough of their seemingly cooling water basins.

It was a great day with exciting discoveries, great conversations and time together outside the office. All colleagues agree that neither the invitation for the whole family nor the good working atmosphere goes without saying. And as it says for us: After the company outing is before the Christmas party.
