From March 19th to 21st, 2019, the well-known Java Conference will take place in Brühl near Cologne again this year. Experts and fans of the Java platform have been meeting here for six years. There will be a varied program with various community activities, exciting workshops and more than 100 lectures.
One of the speakers is our long-time colleague and employee Dipl.-Inf. Christian Kaltepoth. This year he will be accompanied by M. Sc. Dawid Kalinski, another team member from our development department. Both are very much looking forward to the visit as well as great conversations with old and new acquaintances.
Christian will speak on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the session "Community-Controlled Jakarta EE with JAX-RS and MVC" and will give insights into the history, present and future of Jakarta EE and in particular about the current state of JSR 371 (MVC 1.0), for which he has been Specification Lead for over a year. Immediately afterwards (12:00 noon) the panel discussion "Jakarta EE and Micro Profiles" will take place with him and other speakers from the Jakarta EE community.
